I hope no one in critter land was or will be adversely affected by Dorian.  We've had lots of wind but no damage.  I hope the hurricane makes a sharp right and heads farther out to sea.

Well, I have a science experiment going on.  Linda bought me some bagels a while back which reached their expiration date in mid July.  We're now into September (already) and the bagels have not molded or dried out.  It scares me to think about what's put into our food these days.  We try and make most things fresh but bread isn't one of them since I rarely eat it.  Surprisingly, walmart makes bread which is about $1.00 a loaf and tastes good.  If you don't finish it in two days it molds, just like real bread should.

I have two photos for you today.   The first is another vineyard view taken at the Cane Creek winery.  I think it's going to be a regular class field trip from now on.  The second photo is of the waterfall on the Young Harris campus.

enjoy

Dan
