I had a great time teaching at the folk school last week and had seven wonderful students. The first couple of days we worked on using the camera and the various modes of operation and began learning how to see rather than just look. Our first field trip was to Vogel State Park. If you haven't been there you need to go. The park has a beautiful lake, waterfall, boardwalk, hiking trails and mountain views. Our second trip was to Cane Creek Winery where we explored the vineyards and had lunch. Several of the students shared a bottle of wine with their meal. Then we were off to Young Harris college to view their park which includes a boardwalk, old barn and a waterfall.
Both of my photos today were taken at the Cane Creek Winery with my new canon M50. I handheld the camera and was still able to take some sharp photos. I guess the image stabilization has improved. The photo quality doesn't match my 5D3 but I could buy 7 or 8 M50's for what the 5d3 cost.
