Wow, what a beautiful day.  It's about 80 degrees and sunny.  I've spent so much time in the shop lately that I feel like a cave troll.  I haven't even made time for photography (except for the hibiscus) but the kitchen is coming along nicely.  I was going to spend yesterday with the camera but what started out as a gorgeous day turned cloudy and windy about the time I stepped outside to look for things to photograph.  Windy weather is not particularly conducive to any type of closeup or macro photography, and with all the clouds I couldn't even try out my new solar telescope.  That's the curse of a new telescope...clouds.  So, back to the shop I went and sanded some more cabinet doors.

I have three photos for you today.  The first is of Bald River Falls located in the Tellico Plains area in Tennessee.  The second is of a small (about 8 inches long) copper sculpture I made and the third is of a tropical hibiscus which I managed to photograph yesterday before the wind picked up.   Hopefully, I'll have a photo of my kinetic sculpture soon.  First I have to figure out how to fabricate a base for it.

I know this is a short critter but it's to nice outside to sit behind a monitor.
