It's been a busy week.  Tuesday I replaced a snapped cable on the garage door opener.  What a pain.  It should have been a one hour job.  About two hours into it I was thinking that we should of had a new one installed.  But since it's only 30 years old I decided to persevere and now it works smother than ever (the cable had been run under rather than over a brace).  Have I said I'm cheap?   Wednesday and Thursday I spent at the observatory landscaping which means I'll have to spend Friday and Saturday recovering.  The critter is about as ambitious as I'm going to be today.

Once again, I'm going to be teaching my 'Up Close and Personal' class at the John C Campbell Folk School the last week of June.  Everyone form beginner to expert is welcome.  The Folk School is like camp for adults with great food and lots of fun interesting people.  Check it out at    https://www.folkschool.org/

I have two photos for you today.  The first is of a tufted titmouse.  I don't like all the branches but I do like the composition.  The second photo is another one of my favorite flower, a columbine.
