I don't know about y'all but we've had some seriously nasty storms the last several evenings. We definitely need the rain but not like this. The deck and driveway are green from ripped off leaves and branches. What a mess.
All the wren chicks fledged on Sunday (I think). They are still hanging around the house making lots of noise and eating bugs.
I have two photos for you today. The first is a painting by Linda's mother which I particularly like. I have added a gallery with several more photos of her paintings on the thomanstudio.com website under 'photo galleries', 'art' then 'Cici Kuhnke'. Check it out, she did some very nice work.
I have no clue what the second photo is. I was watching an eastern swallowtail butterfly laying eggs on a plant. When she left I clipped one leaf and went inside to take photos of what I was expecting to be tiny green and/or orange spheres. When I got to about 4x power all I saw were tiny white fuzzy blobs that looked like cotton. If you know what they are please let me know.
